The piece was exhibited as part of Feet in the fire exhibition at Morley College.
I asked 20 people “What are the 2 very first words that come to your mind when you think about the climate crisis?
And what colour is conjured for you by each of those words?”
The piece is a representation of their answers. I was curious about the personal responses of those around me and noticed how presenting the answers together despite their myriad of feelings gave them a kind of power and acted as a reminder that collective force does not have to be cohesive in its sentiment just in its action.
